A few notable points:

Stoke City were the most goal shy in the Premier League scoring 34 goals in a season which nearly ended in relegation. Can Mark Hughes turn the club around? or will he venture back to his old club Queens Park Rangers and bring more overpaid journeymen to the Britannia? Hoooof!

Manchester City's 1-0 win against Swansea City in October lasted 103 minutes, a Premier League record, following delays caused by injuries to goalkeeper Michel Vorm and defender Micah Richards. Fergie Time!

55% of the players in the Premier League are English, of which 54% were rubbish.

Stoke City midfielder Dean Whitehead received 11 yellow cards last season, which was more than anyone else. Shame he doesn't have a long throw!
