AC Milan have this afternoon confirmed they have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign forward Mario Balotelli.
In what has been the longest transfer saga of the current window, it appears the end is in sight with the player set to fly to Milan tomorrow.
He reportedly said his goodbyes to his teammates over the weekend, and will undergo a medical tomorrow ahead of signing a four-and-a-half year contract.
The fee to take him to the San Siro is around £20 million, which will enable the club to recoup the money the outlaid to Inter Milan in the summer of 2010.
Manchester City haven't officially confirmed the deal, though have stated they expect the deal to go through tomorrow,
Balotelli has encountered an eventful time during his two-and a half years in England ranging from sendings off, setting fireworks off in his bathroom and his recent bust up in training with Roberto Mancini.
The Italian International, who is still only 20, will wear the number nine shirt for the Rossenari, worn by former club hero Pippo Inzaghi, and will join the club he supported as a child.
