Only three days since winning against Liverpool, Hull City will take on another heavyweight from the division coming in the form of Arsenal. The tigers will be hoping to make another shock defeat tonight against the league leaders after defeating Liverpool 3-1 at the KC Stadium on Sunday. Arsenal are currently placed in first four points in front of Chelsea while Hull lie in tenth place seven points above the relegation places. Hull will have to show resilience and tenacity like they did on Sunday to defeat the Gunners. It will be a very tough test for the tigers as Arsenal have only lost one game in their past 12.Maybe Hull can pull of a shock win just like they did five years ago defeating the Gunners 2-1 in their won back yard. The tigers went one nil down due to a Paul Mcshane goal before a wondrous strike from Geovanni just before the winner was decided by Daniel Cousin’s bullet header. This game will be a tougher test as Arsenal are looking this season. Hull City’s midfield will have to put in a shift tonight as Arsenal’s midfield is sprinkled with talent. Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshire are some of the very best in the Premier League but the stand out star is currently Aaron Ramsey, he has already scored ten goals in all competitions this season. Hull City’s midfield duo of Tom Huddleston and Jake Livermore will need to battle hard and put their body on the line to stop the midfield force of Arsenal. Bacary Sagna has been ruled out of the game so he will be probably be replaced by Carl Jenkinson, this is Arsenal’s only enforced swap. Hull’s Curtis Davies picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Liverpool on Sunday and will serve a one game suspension against Arsenal. James Chester has made a timely recovery to replace Curtis Davies in the heart of the defence after a six week absence after suffering an injury against Newcastle in October.
