New Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has wasted no time in the transfer market, by announcing a triple signing today.
After narrowly avoiding relegation last season, the new man at the helm is looking to add firepower to his side, with goals being predominantly scored by striker Jordan Rhodes.
All three signings will join up with the club on July 1st, with their contracts running out with their current clubs, allowing for a bosman free transfer move to Ewood Park.
The first of the signings today was Millwall left winger Chris Taylor, who has penned a two-year contract at the club. He featured in half of the Lions games last season, after joining on a one-year deal from League 1 side Oldham Athletic last summer.
Portsmouth goalkeeper Simon Eastwood has also penned a two-year contract at Ewood Park, and featured heavily for Portsmouth last season, before they were ultimately relegated to League 2.
Alan Judge makes a return to the club he left in 2011, after performing admirably for Nott's County last season, with the attacking midfielder being names in the League 1 team of the season.
Manager Gary Bowyer was delighted with the signings and confirmed on BBC Radio Lancashire:
"If you look at where our goals came from last season, they all came from Jordan [Rhodes] and we needed more being contributed from different areas of the pitch.
"He [Judge] will do that, as will Chris Taylor. Chris was magnificent against us in the cup for Millwall. They can play in a number of positions, which is vital for us."
