Bolton Wanderers have today confirmed the signing of Barnsley striker Craig Davies in a £300,000 deal.
The forward has been in decent form for the relegation threatened side scoring 9 goals in 23 games for The Tykes, and he could be the firepower Bolton need in their quest to push up the Championship table.
He has been in talks with Dougie Freedman's side for the past week, and has finally signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the club this morning.
He is available for their Championship match this weekend, and Freedman confirmed on the Bolton official website:
"Craig is a player I am really fond of. I actually tried to sign him a couple of years ago and he will bring all the right ingredients to our club.
"He is hungry. He hasn't got the T-shirt of playing in the Premier League, but is desperate to get it. He's a good age and represents very good value for the football club.
"He is the type of player I want around the place."
