It has been a busy day in Bristol this afternoon, with two new arrivals at Ashton Gate and one departure to the Championship.
The Robins have completed the signing of former Charlton Athletic midfielder Scott Wagstaff on a free transfer, with the player penning a three-year contract with the League 1 side.
They have also announced the signing of former Arsenal trainee striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on a two-year contract from Ipswich Town.
As part of the deal which allowed Emmanuel-Thomas would move today, was the departure of winger Paul Anderson who signed for the Tractor Boys on a two-year contract
No money was involved in the swap deal for the players with negotiations beginning over ten days ago, with the small matter of Emmanuel-Thomas coming to an agreement with his former employers over the last year of his contract.
The Robins are looking for an instant promotion back to the Championship and look set for this with their signings today joining former Swindon Town defender Aden Flint who signed a few weeks ago in a £300,000 deal to help bolster manager Sean O'Driscoll's squad.
