Champions Saint Patrick's Athletic

As the Airtricity League of Ireland draws to a close, new champions St.Patrick's Athletic are still celebrating there title win. With two games left Pat's have been the most consistent team this year and that is the one ingredient that makes champions.Manager Liam Buckley in a press conference during the week, was reported to be extremely happy with the commitment and courage his side showed throughout the season. As it stands at the moment with two games left they are a clear eight points ahead of second place Dundalk,so that in itself tells a huge story of the season 2013/14.

At the bottom of the table Shelbourne are on the brink of relegation. If Bray can get anything against Bohemians tonight well then that's it for Shels. If not we will go to the last game of the season to decide who drops to division one.As it stands Bray are three points ahead and tonight,s game is there match in hand,So as I said all they need is a draw tonight to seal there place in next seasons premier league.

I myself will be disappointed if Shelbourne do drop through the trap door, but the table does not lie and the northside team are rock bottom as we go into this weekend.
