Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy have stated that Chelsea are in talks with AC Milan attacking midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The Ghanian's agent Roger Wittman reportedly met up with AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani on Friday to state his client would like a move away from the San Siro, with Boateng recently walking off a pitch during a game due to the racism directed at him.
Boateng has been heavily linked with a move away from Italy, with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray falling through in January after Galliani denied the move and more recent links with Ligue 1 side Monaco.
He has previous experience of the Premier League, where he spent time with Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth, missing a penalty for the latter in an FA Cup final against the side he is now set to join.
After the meeting on Friday, Wittman flew to London this weekend to discuss the move with Chelsea, with a fee of around £13 being enough to secure his services.
AC Milan are in for a busy summer, with star striker Stephan El Shaarawy being linked to Manchester City and Robinho with a move back to his native Brazil.
One player who does look likely to join the Serie A side is former West Ham United midfielder Alessando Diamanti, who is also interesting Juventus.
