It has just been confirmed by Doncaster Rovers Chairman John Ryan, that current Manager Dean Saunders is to leave the club and become the new Manager of Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former Wrexham Manager has produced wonders at The Keepmoat stadium, by guiding the club into 2nd in the League 1 table, level on points with leaders Tranmere Rovers, since suffering relegation from the Championship last season.
They also have one of the best away records in England, with the club recording 9 wins from 13 away games this season which has helped propel the club into the automatic promotion spots.
Saunders travelled to Molineux today to finalise personal terms, and the compesation package between the clubs is set to be agreed within the next hour.
