Deportivo La Coruna are reportedly preparing a ten-year contract offer want-away Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.
Having left the Galician side for Arsenal last summer, Perez found playing time hard to come by under Arsene Wenger, despite the Frenchman’s admiration of his ability and season prior to the move, where he scored an impressive 17 goals in 37 games.
Just 11 appearances in the Premier League have seen the Spaniard look to leave, making comments quoted in Fichajes.net about his desire to move this summer.
“I want to leave to play and be happy. Last year I barely had any opportunities and when I had them I took advantage of them. And this season is clearly going to be more of the same. I want to fight to go to the national team. I want to play soccer.
“But for that I have to leave. And I think that the best place I’ll be is in my hometown, in the Dépor,” he said.
And, it now looks like that wish could come true after Diario AS claim Deportivo have prepared a sensational 10-year contract that would keep him at the club past his playing career.
Turkish side Fenerbahce have also held interest but a bid in the region of £10m from the La Liga outfit and the players desire to move back to the Riazor make that interest seem unlikely.
