The first tie in the fourth round was played on Friday and gave us our first upset of the round with Millwall beating Aston Villa.

Saturday played host to a few upsets of its own as MK Dons won away to QPR and non-league Luton won 1-0 away to Premier League outfit Norwich City.

A late goal against Stoke City put Manchester City through, Wigan and Barnsley also won 1-0 against Macclesfield and Hull respectively. Arsenal also went through with a late goal away to Brighton as did Everton against Bolton.

Reading beat Sheffield United 4-0, Manchester United cruised through against Fulham and Derby were dumped out by Blackburn.

Middlesbrough also progressed and Huddersfield will now travel to Leicester after playing out a draw.

Sunday served up three teams with aspirations of playing Champions League football next season against teams from lower leagues, so no shocks here right?

Well the early kick off saw Brentford draw with Chelsea despite leading twice, then Leeds beat Tottenham thanks largely to shambolic defending by the Premier League team. The late kick off saw Oldham Athletic record a deserved win against Liverpool despite a late charge by the top flight giants.
