Arsenal forward Gervinho looks set to complete a move to Serie A side AS Roma imminently after flying over to undergo a medical with the club this evening.
The Ivory Coast International has spent just over two years at the Premier League side after joining from Ligue 1 outfit Lille in a £10 million deal in the summer of 2011.
After showing such potential in France, he has failed to live up to the expectation at the Emirates Stadium and will not be missed by the Gunner support who find him extremely frustrating and wasteful on the pitch.

The 26-year old will complete a move to Italy in the coming days where he is expected to sign a four-year contract for a fee believed to be just over £7 million.
He is quoted as stating in Gazzetta dello Sport on arrival “I’m happy to be here, it was my dream.”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the wideman who scored four goals in twenty-eight appearances last season was close to leaving the club in an interview today:
“Gervinho? we are at the moment close to an agreement with a club where he should go.”
His move to Roma looks to be sealed already with Gervinho below being snapped in his new colours this evening:
In other Arsenal news, striker Marouane Chamakh looks set to join Crystal Palace on loan within the next 48 hours, although Nicklas Bendnter is no closer to leaving the club.
