Hazard proving his star Quality



Chelsea had an emphatic 3-0 victory over an out of form Newcastle with Eden Hazard once again proving his world class ability with an impressive hat trick. Chelsea now sit top of the Premier League by one point after a surprise 5-1 defeat by Liverpool to Arsenal and an unbelievable 0-0 draw with Norwich for Manchester City and could be on their way to winning their fourth Premier League title and with the FA Cup and Champions League still in contention, a historic treble is still possibility, something that Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho has been craving to win since he first stepped into Stamford Bridge.. Hazard has definitely become the talisman of the Chelsea team and could be seen as the main reason for chelsea success at the end of the season if they manage to be successful.

Hazard is slowly showing the he is a player with everything. He is incredibly fast, lots of skill and movement on and off the ball and can score some truly magnificent goals.

In an interview with BBC, Hazard said that the would like to one day be mentioned in the same breath as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and at just 23 years old, this could be seen as quite a bold statement. But with the run of form that Hazard is in he is definitely no longer seen as the young kid with a lot of pace. Mourinho has done a masterful job since returning to Chelsea in making Hazard the main man of the side and a world class talent. The incredibly controversial selling of Mata to Manchester United made most fans think that Mourinho had lost it but what it did do was give Hazard a lot more confidence and freedom, turning him into the man at Chelsea.

This year Belgium will play in the World Cup for the first time since 2002, and with a player like Hazard - along with many other incredible talents - Belgium are certainly regarded as the dark horses. With Hazard expected to be one of the best players of the tournament he has the opportunity to prove his class in front of the whole world and a chance for him name to be mentioned in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo.

This year is certainly going to be the best of Hazard's career and could be the year that defines his as one of the best in the world and with it just being February, is already being mentioned as a Ballon D'or contender for next year.
