Swansea City are in talks to sign Winger Tom Ince from Blackpool. Ince was offered a new deal in December by Blackpool and has been the centre of much speculation over the last couple of windows, with the Premier League seeming the likely destination for the former Liverpool trainee.
However in an interview with BBC Lancashire Blackpool Chairman Karl Oysten denied any contact between the clubs sayings there had been “no talks with anyone and no offers received” for the 21-year-old. We understand, however, that Tom Ince and his father Paul met with representatives from Swansea earlier today.
Ince seemed close to a move to Swansea’s rivals Cardiff in the summer, however he ended up staying with Blackpool have recently become a father and stating it was not the right time to move for him.
Ince has played 12 times for England Under-21s joined Blackpool in August 2011. He has scored 33 goals in 111 matches for the Tangerines, including seven goals in 23 games this season.
