Ipswich Town have this afternoon confirmed a double loan swoop in the striker department with both David McGoldrick and Aaron Mclean signing.
Both players have signed on a loan deal until the end of the season with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer, and will help fill the void left by the departing DJ Campbell who has returned to his parent club Queens Park Rangers.
McGoldrick has been in terrific form in League 1 for Coventry City this season, where he has score nearly a goal every game for the Sky Blue, with 16 goals in 22 games for the club
McLean looked set for a move to Championship promotion rivals Millwall, but Manager Steve Bruce felt a move to Ipswich would be in the best interests for the player, and meant he wouldn't be impacting the Tigers automatic promotion push.
Both players will be available for Ipswich Town's next Championship match after not being registered in time to take part in their FA Cup tie at Aston Villa tomorrow.
