Former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Kieron Dyer is set to join Middlesbrough tomorrow it has been confirmed.
The thirty-four year old was only releasded by the Hoops earliesr this month, and is set to sign a contract until the end of the season with an option of a further year.
The former England International, has suffered with injuries throughtout his career, which blighted his stay at West Ham United, and his recent move to Loftus Road, where he was carried off on his debut for the club.
If the Championship outfit can keep the player fit, he could be a very useful acquistion for a side who are looking to push on to ensure a playoff spot in their quest for promotion to Englands top flights.
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray confirmed yesterday: “I’ve had some conversations with Kieron.”
“‘I actually played in his debut at Ipswich when I was a coach so I have known him for a long time.”
‘If Kieron was fit and playing for us then he would be a huge asset for our club.
