Kolo Toure to join Galatasaray

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure could be the next player to join ambitious Turkish side Galatasaray this month according to reports this morning.

The Ivory Coast International has been a squad player at the City of Manchester Stadium over the past two seasons and is looking to sort out his immediate future with only six months left on his current contract.

Toure, has been plagued with injuries over recent years, and has also been suspended for six months due to failing a drugs test in 2011 which seemed to be his turning point in his City career, where he only made fourteen appearances for the club in their title winning campaign last season.

After paying £16 million for the central defender from Arsenal in 2009, it is likely the club will receive minimal fee for the player if he does move to Galatasaray this month, where he is likely to join the incoming Didier Drogba, and the already signed Wesley Sneijder at the Turk Telecom Stadium.
