Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing Swansea City defender Ashley Richards on loan for the rest of the season.
The Championship side who currently sit fourth in the league are looking to spend some of the money they received for the sale of starlet Wilfried Zaha by bringing the player to Selhurst park to predominantly operate in defence.
The twenty one year old has only featured for Swansea City four times this season and Manager Michael Laudrup is looking to allow him out on loan to gain more first team experience.
The Welsh International, known as ‘Jazz’ is interesting many parties in the England’s second tier, and Eagles Manager Ian Holloway has acted quickly to sign the player before next Thursdays transfer deadline.
The full back who can also operate in midfield is the sides first signing of the transfer window, and looks to be joined by Bristol City winger Albert Adomah and Sheffield United striker Nick Blackman.
