Liverpool manager Brendan rodgers has revealed that the club could bring in three or four quality players in the Summer. Liverpool have already been linked with soem very strong players such as PSG’s Jeremy Menez, Swansea City’s Ashley Williams and Malaga’s Manuel Iturra. Since the arrival of Phillipe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge in Jnuary, Liverpool have become a different side and now have a very strong case to qualify for the Europa League next season which would see the club attract a lot of world class players

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted that he would like to stay at Spanish side Athletico Madrid on loan for another season rather than return to the Blues for next season. Courtois who arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2011 is yet to make an appearance for the first team because of Petr Cech. But it has been rumoured that Courtois is to become the long term successor to Cech who turns 31 in May. Courtois has already been with Athletico for two seasons and it is also rumoured that negotiations have begun between the two clubs to see if Courtois can remain an Athletico player for another year

Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell is set to return from injury later this month and has claimed that he will be fit to help the  club chase down Manchester United in their bid to win the Premier League for the second year in succession. Rodwell aggravated a hamstring injury that has plagued him throughout his first year at City which has only seen him represent the club eight times in the Premier League since joining from Everton last Summer

Swansea City manager Michael laudrup has said that it is something special to have been named the most impressive manager this season by other managers in a survey conducted by the League Managers Association (LMA). Laudrup has been fantasic since taking over from Brendan Rodgers last Summer and has already guided the Swans to their first ever major trophy and also a well respected position in the league so far. Michu, a player who Laudrup brought to the club, was also voted the best new recruit in the LMA survey

Former Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio has claimed that he si ready to take the big step up to managing in the Premier League. It has already ben rumoured that he is one of the favourites to become the new manager of Reading, after the departure of Brian McDermott earlier on this week. Di Canio has had a very successful managing career so far with Swindon, where he has put the club on course for back-to-back promotions. So this makes him one of the prime candidates to become Brian McDermott’s successor

Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar has claimed that the side are ready to battle for their Premier League survival and has assured fans that as well. Villa have got an important game this weekend against fellow relegation battlers QPR, who have found themselves a bit of form recently, much like Villa who have won two of their last five games

Norwich City goalkeeper Mark Bunn has insisted that the side cannot yet take their foot of the pedal as he believes that their Premeir League safety is not yet confirmed. Even though Norwich are nine points clear of relegation going into the last nine games of the season, Bunn still thinks that a couple more wins are needed to ensure Premier leageu safety. Norwich manager Chris Hughton also thinks that the club needs to pick up a couple more wins as he also believes that the Canaries are still not safe from the drop

Brighton manager Gus Poyet believes that the side are wasting their season because of the amount of chances that they waste. And he has also said that if this continues then they will have no hope of making the play-offs come the end of the season. brighton suffered their second defeat in four days last night as they lost 2-1 to relegation threatened Barnsley. Even though Brighton have lost their last two, they are still sitting comfy in 7th place in the Championship just one point off the play-offs
