Sunderland have agreed to terminate the rest of Frenchman Louis Saha’s contract. The ex Manchester United and Everton forward has failed to make an impact at the Stadium Of Light since he arrived there on a one-year deal last summer. In his time with Sunderland Saha didn’t start a single game and also didn’t score a goal during his stay with them.  But  an unnamed South African club are poised to make a move for Saha and offer him an escape route in the next couple of days

Newcastle have made a bid for Nancy’s Massadio Haidara with the fee believed to be around the region of £2 million. Aston Villa were close to signing the French full back last summer, but could not agree a fee with Nancy. Roma have also declared their interest in signing Haidara, and Haidara has said that he would love to play in both Italy and England in the coming future

Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has declared his interest in one day managing in the Premier League. There have been many rumours going around in the past couple of months saying that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants the Spaniard to become permanent manager in the summer if he decides to sack current interim manager Rafa Benitez

Newcastle are set to hold talks today with their captain Fabricio Coloccini to try and stop the Argentine leaving the club in January. Coloccini has already asked to leave the club because of personal reasons, but he has yet to hand in his transfer request to the Newcastle board. Since signing for Newcastle in 2008 Coloccini has played 155 times for The Magpies, scoring four goals

Portsmouth have completed the signing of QPR youngster Frankie Sutherland on a one-month youth loan deal. Portsmouth were set to sign the youngster earlier on in the season, but they weren’t able to finalise the deal before the emergency loan window shut

Norwich midfielder Jacob Butterfield has joined Crystal Palace on loan until February 19th. Butterfield has found it hard to break into the first team at Carrow Road this season, and has already had a loan spell at Bolton earlier on in the season where he played eight times for The Trotters

Newcastle pair Tim Krul and Davide Santon have attracted a lot of interest from Italian giants AC Milan since the start of January, and it is believed that the Italian club are set to step up their interest in the pair in the coming weeks

QPR striker Djibril Cisse is set to complete a 6-month loan to make way for Loic Remy if he signs for the club

Preston North End have completed the loan signing of Leeds United defender Paul Connolly until April

Aldershot Town winger Kieron Cadogan has signed a new contract to keep him at the south coast club until the summer of 2014
