Michu has signed a new contract with Swansea which will keep him at the club until 2016. The Spanish attacking midfielder has scored 16 goals in 28 appearances for Swansea since joining the club for £2.2 million in the summer from Spanish side Rayo Vallecano. It had been rumoured in recent weeks that a number of Spanish clubs were interested in Michu but he has stated that he is hapy at Swansea and is living a dream

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson has expressed his desire to stay with The Banthams and is set to snub any offers that come his way to stay wih the club. Bradford have already rejectd an approach from Championship side Blackpool for Parkinson and it is now believed that Parkinson is in very high demand with a number of clubs. But Parkinson's curent contract expires at the end f the season and chairman Mark Lawn is set to offer him a new one in the coming weeks

West Ham defender Guy Demel has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until 2015. Since joining The Hammers in 2011 from Hamburg, Demel has had many injuries which has at times put his West Ham career in danger, but this season he has been a key player in the side and the defender has made 17 appearances in all competitions

Wolves defender Kristian Kostrna is set to be out for at least eight months after he broke his leg whilst he was playing for Slovakia Under-21s. Kostrna will require an operation after a scan showed that he had broken two bones in his shin

French pair Massadio Haidara and Yoan Gouffran have arrived in Newcastle to undergo medicals. If the pair both pass their medicals then they will both have he green light for a move from their respected clubs in France

Fabricio Coloccini's father has insisted that his son is eager to return to Argentina with San Lorenzo sooner than later. Coloccini has already handed in a transfer request at Newcastle earlier on in the season and has made it very well known that he wants to return to Argentina soon. But Newcastle are hoping to retain their captain until the end of the season

Arsenal are set to make one final attemt to land Barcelona striker David Villa on the cheap at the end of the transfer window. Arsenal have aready had a bid rejected from Barca and Barca president Sandro Rosell has said that Villa is not for sale. But Arsene Wenger believes that he can land his man before the end of January

Danny Simpson looks set to leave Newcastle at the end of the season as he is not being offered a nw contract, and his curent one expires in the Summer

Nottingham Forest are set to make a loan offer for Southampton youngster James Ward-Prowse until the end of the season

Crawley Town have completed the signing of pair Mustapha Dumbuya and Joe Essam on free transfers. Dumbuya was at Portsmouth before he was released at the start of January and has signed a six month contract whilst Essam has signed a contract until 2015 and was signed on a free transfer from Gillingham with Gillingham recieveing a percentage of the of the sell on fee
