Afternoon all,

Talks between Theo Walcott and Arsenal over a new contract are set to be held today. Walcott's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, and many clubs have been made aware of this including Chelsea. The striker has played a huge role for Arsenal this season scoring on 14 occasions. Walcott has said that he is currently enjoying himself at the club and wants to stay there. So it looks like he will be signing a new contract with The Gunners, but nothing official yet

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has said that he is having fun playing in the Premier League, even though this is the first time in his career that he hasn't had a winter break like he did in France with Lyon and Nice. Lloris had a tough start to his Spurs career as he had a lot of competition from American Brad Friedel and there was rumours saying that Lloris could be moving this January, but Lloris has now said that he is loving his time at Spurs so far

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard believes that the side will be a lot more successful in 2013 than they were in 2012 and that all the players should be excited about the future. Liverpool haven't started this season off the best as they have only amassed 28 points from their 20 matches so far this season, which sees them lying in 10th place in the Premier League

Wigan have completed the loan signing of Manchester United youngster Angelo Henriquez until the end of the season. Roberto Martinez has said that he will try do to Henriquez what he did to Tom Cleverley a couple of seasons ago. Cleverley played 25 times whilst he was on loan at Wigan and on his return to Manchester United, Cleverley was put straight into the first team

Arsenal have ruled out a move to bring Thierry Henry back to The Emirates. Henry had been training with the first team since November to keep up his fitness in the MLS off season, but Arsene Wenger has now ruled out making a move for their all time top scorer

Sunderland striker Ji Dong-Won has signed on loan for German side Augsburg until the end of the season

Blackburn have completed the signing of Josh King from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee. King had already been at Ewood Park on loan and scored two goals in eight appearances for The Rovers

Scunthorpe United are close to securing a new deal for striker Karl Hawley. His current contract is set to expire this month, and will be a free agent if a new contract isn't agreed. Hawley has scored five goals in 17 appearances this season for Scunthorpe

Aldershot have extended the loan for Reading defender Michael Hector until the end of January. But striker Guy Madjo has left the club after scoring eight goals in 23 appearances this season for the club

And finally,

Former World Cup winner Rivaldo has gone on trial with League One side Portsmouth. The 40-year-old has already been on trial with Crystal Palace, Peterborough United and Charlton Athletic, but has been turned away by all three of the clubs. Noe Pamarot and Danny Webber have also gone on trial at the south coast club
