Swansea City forward Michu has penned a new four-year contract with the club.
His original contract was due to expire in the summer of 2015, although his new deal will tie him down for a furthe year until 2016.
The player, who looks set to win his first International cap with Spain in the near future, has been a revelation since joining from Spanish side Rayo Vallecano for a reported £2 million in the summer.
He scored 16 goals for the La Liga club last year, and the Swans secured his signing beating off competition from many Spanish sides as he joined up with Michael Laudrups new side.
He has already scored 13 Premier League goals this season, and has already been linked with clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.
The 26-year old confirmed on the Swansea Official Website: “It was an easy decision for me, I am living a dream here at Swansea.”
“I’m really happy here in the city with the people, the club and the fans. Everyone has been so nice to me since I arrived.
“I think the club are happy with me because they have given me a new contract. I am certainly happy with the club.”
