Alvaro Negredo has said goodbye to his Valencia team-mates as a move to Turkish giants Besiktas looks set to be sealed.
The Valencia squad completed training without the Spanish striker on Tuesday evening after he was spotted leaving early after saying goodbye to a number of first team players.
His exit from the session could be his final visit to Paterna ahead of an imminent move to Besiktas.
Everything is indicating that the transfer of Negredo to Besiktas is happening and Valencia will be getting what they want by offloading the striker of the pay roll in order to help fund their desired transfers.
The transfer of the striker is believed to have been sealed on Tuesday’s meeting between the player’s representative Juanma López, Valencia general manager Mateu Alemany and represantives on behalf of Besiktas.
The transfer is believed to have taken a turn despite the player’s initial reluctance to join the Turks.
Valencia have been working to offload a number of high wage players who were deemed unimportant by coach Marcelino such as Aymen Abdennour who is likely to join a list of players which includes Diego Alves and Enzo Perez who have been sold by the club over the summer.
