Norwich City have just released a statement to inform fans of the signing of striker Kei Kamara.
The forward who plays his trade in the MLS with Sporting Kansas, has joined on loan until May 6th.
Kamara has spent the whole of his career playing in America, with most recently spending time in Kansas where he has scored 11 goals in 33 games this season.
The Sierra Leone International will fly into the Norwich to complete the deal subject to International Clearance.
He has been strongly linked with a move to the Canaries over the past few weeks, and is Chris Hughton's first signing of the January Transfer window.
It is clear the Premier League side are looking for new recruits upfront after having three offers for Celtic striker Gary Hooper turned down, and a £5.5 million offer for Swansea City forward Danny Graham rejected.
As well as Kamara coming in at Carrow Road, he is set to be followed by Leeds United forward Luciano Becchio who is set to join tomorrow, with Steve Morison moving in the opposite direction.
