Norwich sign Lewis Grabban

This morning, Norwich have announced their first summer signing in Lewis Grabban for an undisclosed fee. The London born striker has ended the summer speculation by agreeing a three-year deal with an option for a further year,  in hope of boosting City's chances of an instant return to the Premier League.

Grabban, 26,  has caught the eye of several clubs this season having endured a very successful season at Bournemouth scoring 22 goals and finishing as the team's top scorer. Grabban arrives at Carrow Road having scored 35 goals in 93 appearances during a two-year spell at Bournemouth and leaves the club on a good note after helping his side to a 10th place finish in the 13/14 Championship season.

In Grabban's first interview with his new club he said: "It's good to start a new chapter, get going again with Norwich and hopefully get promotion.

"I've played here before and the atmosphere's been great, the fans are great. It's exciting to be a part of the club now and hopefully do well for them."

City boss Neil Adams added: "I am delighted that Lewis has put pen to paper to become my first signing. He will provide pace, intelligent movement and a high work ethic to the front line, and of course he showed in the Championship last season that he is capable of scoring a variety of different goals.

"Lewis possesses precisely the type of attitude, application and quality that I expect from my players, and I am really looking forward to integrating him into the squad."
