West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has been pinpointed as QPR’s top transfer target for the remainder of the January Transfer Windon according to Sky Sports.
The 31-year old who scored the clubs equaliser against local rvials Aston Villa on the weekend, has been linked with a move to London for the past few weeks.
QPR made their initital interest known after having an offer, believed to be around £2.5 million rejected for the player at the start of January.
Since then they have acquired French International forward Loic Remy, who scored on his debut against West Ham on Saturday, although have lost Djibril Cisse who has joined Al-Gharafa.
The contract on offer from the Premier League’s bottom club would be a significant improvement on the one he currently has at The Hawthorns, with reports of an increase of £40,000 a week, and a huge bonus if he can help keep the Hoops in England’s top flight.
The move is likely to move forward over the resulting days of the Transfer Window, and he is currently 8/11 at SkyBet to make the move. (sign up and bet below)
