Serie A side Palermo have tonight completed the signings of Mauro Boselli from Wigan Athletic, and Mauro Formica from Blackburn Rovers.
The pair have signed an initial loan until the end of the season with both deals having an option to buy in the summer.
Boselli hasn't adjusted to life in the Premier League since his arrival from Estudiantes in 2010 for a reported £6.5 million. The Argentine has made handful of appearances for the club with notable loan spells in Serie A with Genoa, and a return last season back to his native country with his former club Estudiantes.
He recently played in the clubs FA Cup tie at Bournemouth, where he scored the only goal of the game, which ended up being his last for the club.
Formica signed for Blackburn Rovers during the summer of 2011 and played a part in the clubs relegation from The Premier League last season, and has featured a handful of time this season during their Championship campaign.
The attacking midfielder has been linked to many clubs from Turkey during the summer, and also to San Lorenzo and former club Newell's Old Boys.
