Queens Park Rangers are about to make their first signing of the January Transfer Window in the form of defender Tal Ben Haim.
Harry Redknapp confirmed the deal was in place after his sides 1-0 victory at European Champions Chelsea last night
The 30 year old defender, can play in a number of positions along the back four, could be a worthy addition for The Hoops on a free transfer.
His initial contract will run until the end of the season, with an opportunity to impress during this time to extend the deal.
The defender has been without a club since leaving League 1 side Portsmouth in the summer, and has been a journeyman over the years, with this move being his 8th different club in 6 years since coming over to England with Bolton Wanderers.
More signings are likely to follow at Loftus Road, although Redknapp did confirm no deals were close to completion, after losing out on the signing of Joe Cole to West Ham.
