Real Madrid have received no less than 20 offers for midfielder Marcos Llorente, according to Marca.
Having developed through Madrid’s various youth ranks – Llorente was handed a one-year loan move last season to Alaves, where he helped them to a Copa del Rey final place, losing out 3-1 to Barcelona.
32 appearances for the Basque side saw him gain high recognition at his parent club, but also with fellow La Liga sides.
And, as the transfer window in Spain comes to an end on Friday evening – a whole host of clubs have made Madrid an offer for his services.
Sevilla, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and big spending Paris Saint Germain are the teams reported to have made solid bids, whilst others such as Alaves, Deportivo and Real Betis have been interested.
In-fact, no less than 20 clubs are said to have made enquiries, according to a Madrid insider, who told Marca: “That is considering that we have not replied to a single question in the past two weeks.”
Whilst it is uncertain whether Llorente will have ample playing time next season under Zinedine Zidane; all 20 bids were rejected by the reigning La Liga and European champions.
The 22-year-old has featured for both Spain’s U19 and U21 sides.
