Fulham have been busy once again today after completing the signing of Athletic Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta on a free transfer.
In what has already been a busy few days at Craven Cottage with midfielder Derek Boateng joining the club from Dnipro and right back Sascha Riether joining from Cologne, manager Martin Jol has pulled off a coup by landing a player who has been linked to many of Europe's top sides over the past year.
The Venezuela International has penned a four-year contract at the London club after spending the past eight seasons in Spain, helping lead the club
Amorebieta told the club's official website, www.fulhamfc.com.
"I'm delighted to have signed a four-year deal with Fulham and I'm looking forward to competing in the Premier League next season,"
"I'm impressed with the talent already at the club and I look forward to meeting the players for pre-season training in July."
Fulham are also on the verge of signing their fourth player in as many days with the acquisition of goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg from AS Roma for a reported £4 million.
