So after much speculation and the imminent apparent meltdown at Southampton Football Club, Saints apparent work in the background appears to have paid off with the signing of Dusan Tadic from FC Twente.

Koeman who also recently joined Southampton as their Coach/Manager, appeared to have this one in the bag as he joined. Inevitability of the exits of Lallana and Shaw probably hurried this one along as opposed to Koeman wanting to add depth to the squad and Tadic seems a natural replacement slotting straight into the first team on the left of midfield with Lallana’s exit.

With 33 appearances and 16 goals last season and a similar tally in the previous season it will be interesting to see how he adapts to the Premier League, and his first game away to Liverpool and facing Lallana and Lambert!
