In what seems one of the most unbelievable transfer saga’s going on at Southampton Football Club, you would think in the midst of a mass exodus, some sort of professionalism would ensue. Not so today and after a brief 1 hour meeting with his bosses at Southampton Football Club, Morgan Schneiderlin, one of the main components of last years success, a fans favourite, and possible Captain for the 2014/2015 season releases a comment on twitter that will do nothing but increase the already fierce tensions between club, players and fans!
6 years of an amazing journey #saintsfc DESTROYED in 1 hour !!!
What can you read in this? A shattered man, probably not. A man resorting to the tactics of former players in order to force a move away from the South Coast club, quite probably.
The phrase he chooses is interesting, if 6 years of an amazing journey has indeed been destroyed then something almighty has happened today and to presume anything would be wrong.
Fans up and down the South Coast are already second guessing it is in reference to Mr Krueger’s earlier statement that no-one is for sale which was clarified to Morgan as well this afternoon. If a sale has been turned down, then why not go for another amazing year and make it 7 years? Surely that would be an achievement!
