The return of the ‘Special One’ at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have officially revealed the return of the Special One, Jose Mourinho, in front of a packed press conference this afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

The portuguese tactician starts his second spell in charge of the club after six years away from England.

He has been heavily linked with a return to our shores and has always called England home, with a strong relationship with the British media and the football community in England.

The 50-year old brings success, which is clear for all to see. He has won countless league titles across Europe in his time in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain. Let alone the Champions League with FC Porto and Inter Milan, which will be his key goal at Stamford Bridge.

In a press conference this afternoon, Mourinho stated on his return:

“I am the happy one. It feels like a couple of years ago, but it’s nine years ago.”

“I have the same nature, I am the same person. I have the same heart.”

“I describe myself as a very happy person and it’s the first time I’ve arrived in a club where I already love a club.”

“You have to learn from experiences. Experience is very important if you use it in the right way. “I have to analyse myself every day and try to improve.”

“Nine years is a big difference. When I arrived in 2004 you pushed me to have a stronger approach. Now the situation is different. You know my history.”

“I want to be calm and working every day. I am at the best moment of my career in terms of knowledge. I’m sorry the pre-season doesn’t start tomorrow.”

“This is the beginning of a new period. Will I have a different personality? For sure, no. But I will have a different perspective.”
