11:35: Manchester United have seen a £70.2million transfer bid for Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata rejected.

Express Sport understands the Red Devils failed with a bid worth £60m last month.

And Goal now claim that, despite increasing their offer to £70m, Real Madrid have rejected their latest proposal.

11:00: IT'S OFFICIAL! Lionel Messi has signed a new four-year deal with Barcelona.

Barca released an official statement on their website that read: " FC Barcelona and Leo Messi have agreed on a contract renewal that will keep the Argentinian at the Club until June 30th, 2021.

"The deal will be signed in the coming weeks, when Messi returns to the team for pre-season training."

Reports suggest the Argentine superstar will pocket £500,000 a week at the Nou Camp.

10:44: Tiemoue Bakayoko has ‘liked’ two tweets from a Monaco fan criticisng his move to Chelsea.

Bakayoko is set to become a Chelsea player when he completes his £35million move this summer, which has been held up by negotiations over his wages.

However, Chelsea fans may be feeling relieved after Bakayoko ‘liked’ tweets saying he could end up like Inter Milan flop Geoffrey Kondogbia and calling his decision to quit Monaco “disgusting”.

While the 22-year-old is expected to complete his transfer soon, the move has had a knock-on effect on Nemanja Matic’s proposed switch to Manchester United.

10:05: Ivan Perisic has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United.

Italian outlet Premium Sport claim Inter Milan winger Perisic has already settled on the terms of his contract at United.

The report suggests he will pocket £6.2million [€7m] a season with the Red Devils and his heart is set on a move to Old Trafford.

However, Inter and United still need to agree a fee with the Serie A side demanding around £44m [€55m] for his services.

09:50: Alexandre Lacazette is unlikely to be with the Arsenal squad when they jet out to Australia for their pre-season tour on Sunday.

Lacazette is set to become the club’s record signing in a deal worth up to £52million.

He has agreed a five-year deal and could be announced as Arsenal’s second summer signing today after undergoing a medical.

Arsenal players returned to training at London Colney yesterday and are due to fly out to Australia on Sunday for their pre-season tour.

They play two games in Sydney before moving on to China where they face Bayern Munich and Chelsea in Shanghai and then Beijing.

Arsenal then return to London for the Emirates Cup on July 29.

But the club are hopeful Lacazette will join them for part of the tour and, according to Football London, could fly him out to Australia separately after he has his affairs in order.

09:28: West Ham forward Enner Valenica is reportedly closing in on a move to Mexican side Tigres.

That is according to Sky Sports, who claim the fee will be between £6million and £7m for the Ecuador international.

Valencia was limited to just eight starts in the Premier League last season.

09:20: Jose Mourinho has reportedly set a deadline of TOMORROW in his bid to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

Spanish newspaper Sport claim Mourinho is taking matters into his own hands in a bid to get the deal done.

United's players are due to return to training at Carrington this weekend and Mourinho wants to integrate his new signings into the team before they jet off to the USA for their pre-season tour.

Their first pre-season friendly sees them take on LA Galaxy on July 16 and Mourinho is hopeful Morata can join them in the States.

08:45: Bookies have SUSPENDED betting on Wayne Rooney joining Everton.

The Sun say Rooney has been withdrawn from Manchester United’s tour of the US and will complete a free transfer back to Everton by the end of the week - who are also looking to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud for £20m.

A host of bets had seen Rooney’s homecoming odds plummet into 1/20, before Ladbrokes traders pulled the plug early this morning.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: "Everton fans must be wondering what the club are putting in their breakfast this summer. Having spent over £70m already, the Toffees are now set to bring home arguably their most famous son."

07:46: Finally, some good news for Rangers fans.

Last night the Gers crashed out of the Europa League - to PART-TIME minnows Progres Niederkorn.

Apparently they are only the FOURTH best team in Luxembourg.

Well, anyway on the glass-half-full side of life this morning Rangers are about to complete their latest summer signing.

The Scottish Sun Norwich forward Graham Dorrans has sealed his move to Ibrox and signed a three-year contract.

No backing out now, Graham…

06:50: Loic Remy has reached an agreement with Besiktas over a transfer away from Chelsea, according to reports.

Remy, 30, signed for the Blues in a £10.5million deal from Queens Park Rangers in 2014, but he has failed to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.

The France international has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Chelsea and Antonio Conte deems him surplus to requirements.

And Turkish outlet Sporx claim Besiktas have swooped for him with the club and the player striking a deal over a four-year contract.

It is said he will sign an initial three-year deal with an option to extend his stay by a further year.

Sporx also say a £1.8m offer has been tabled by the Turkish champions.

05:50: Liverpool have made a £14.9million bid to sign Lyon centre-back Emanuel Mammna.

Jurgen Klopp has pinpointed the defence as a priority area for improvement and has earmarked Mammana as a possible target to replace Mamadou Sakho, who looks destined to leave Anfield.

And Sport Review claim the Kop boss has made an approach for the Lyon centre-back.

It is said a £14.9m bid has been tabled for the Argentina international this week.

And the Reds are ready to offer him a five-year contract worth £2.8m-a-season, which will see him earn around £54,000-a-week.

But Mammana will not discuss personal terms with the Reds until an agreement has been reached between the two clubs.

05:10: Antonio Rudiger had his Chelsea medical in Los Angeles yesterday.

Blues boss Antonio Conte has pinpointed his defence as a priority area for improvement.

And Sky Italia say he will finally move one step closer to bolstering his ranks in this department after Rudiger underwent his medical yesterday.

It is said he will now be announced as a Chelsea player today with a £34.2million deal being agreed upon between the Blues and Roma.

04:30: Arsenal are edging closer to landing Riyad Mahrez from Leicester.

That is according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, who claims talks are ongoing and positive over a move to the Emirates.

The Gunners tried to sign the Algeria international last summer, but failed in their pursuit.

However, they have a much greater chance of securing his signature this summer with the player himself wanting to leave the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes wanting in excess of £40million for Mahrez.

04:00: Real Madrid are waiting patiently to sign David De Gea from Manchester United.

De Gea, 26, has been constantly linked with a move to Real in recent seasons as Zinedine Zidane looks to bring in a new No 1 keeper.

They tried to sign the Spain international in 2015, but an administrative error scuppered their move.

And Spanish outlet Diario Madridsta claim Real still harbour hopes of signing De Gea, but are in no rush to get a deal over the line.

It is said the Spanish giants are prepared to drag out the transfer saga and wait for the right moment to sign the keeper.

This is because Real reportedly do not want United to increase their transfer demands any further.
