Aston Villa have continued their busy summer in the transfer market by announcing the signing of Nicklas Helenius from Danish side Aalborg.
The giant 6ft 5" striker joins midfielder Alexsandar Tonev, defender Jores Okore and midfielder Leandro Bacuna in signing for the Premier League side over the past two weeks.
Helenius was the second top goalscorer in the Danish Superliga last season and recently made his international debut with Denmark.
The 21-year old has penned a three-year contract at Villa Park for a reported £2.5 million fee after completing a medical and agreeing personal terms over the past few days.
In an interview on the Aston Villa Offical website, Helenius was delighted to make the move:
"This is a big opportunity for me, a big dream to play in the Premier League with a club with the history of Aston Villa, and I'm very excited."
"I thought that maybe when I was 28 or something I might eventually be able to move to the Premier League having made my mark in Danish football, but now I have my chance and I think this is the right club for me with all the other young players in the side who want to do well and achieve something together."
"I want to show the fans that I'm hungry for this and that I'm very proud to be a Villa player."
