Watford fans are in jubilant mood this evening after the club annouced the signing of Udinese striker Fernado Forestieri on a five-and-a-half year contract.
The talented youngter, 22, joined the club in the summer under Manager Gianfranco Zola where he utilisted the links the club have with Udinese due to current owner Giampaolo Pozzo.
Forestieri is highly rated and has been compared admirably to Barcelona star and current World Player of the Year Lionel Messi. In fact at Vicarage Road they call him 'Fessi' and will no doubt become more of a crowd favourite after signing a long term contract with the club.
The Hornets are flying in the Championship, and with calibre of players joining Forestieri at the club in Vydra, Chalobah and Pudil to name a few, they have a fantastic oppotunity of reaching the promise land in the near future.
Forestieri said on his permanent move on the Watford official website:
“I’m unbelievably happy to be signing for Watford.
